Be sure to ask each camp you interview just how intenese the programs is, as many camps offer cheerleading simply as a recreational option.
Some summer cheer programs are attached to major universities with nationally recognized cheer squads, and have access to incredible sports and exercise facilities, and other training equipment, and even nationally recognized cheer coaches and choreographers. Other cheerleading camps are hundreds of miles from major cities, nestled deep in the woods and are part of traditional sleepaway camps.
